Tax Exempt Customers

Shop In Today is required to charge sales tax on orders being shipped to New York and California. If you are a Reseller or Tax Exempt Organization in any of these states, we have the ability to flag your account as Tax Exempt.

Please complete the following steps PRIOR to placing your order:

1) Register for an account by visiting https://www.shopintoday.com/customer/account/login/

2) Fill out the PDF sales tax form corresponding to the state the order is shipping to. 

New York: ST-120 http://www.tax.ny.gov/pdf/current_forms/st/st120_fill_in.pdf
California: BOE-230 http://www.boe.ca.gov/pdf/boe230.pdf

If these forms do not fit your business or organization classification, please contact your state tax authority for the appropriate form. We have listed the two most common forms for your convenience.

3) Fax the COMPLETED and SIGNED Sales Tax Form to (585) 286-1880. You may also email a digital copy to CST @ ShopInToday.com. Please also indicate the email address you used to setup your account so that me may flag the appropriate account as tax exempt.

You will receive an email confirmation back from us once your account has been flagged as Tax Exempt. Many email filters are aggressive in flagging legitimate emails as spam. Please check your spam folder for emails from "@shopintoday.com".
